There’s nothing much to blog but I’m in my final semester and yahoo….. I’ll be graduating ON TIME. HOPEFULLY! ( Despite the disappointment in last semester’s result)

I am still on a mission to lose some weight. Weighing 70KGs makes me feel so unhealthy. The protuberance on my stomach is the major problem. Solution?? 100 of daily Sit ups!

Chinese New Year is approaching. As usual, I will not be home but i’ll be doing some part-time job to earn extra income.

I’m planning to work temporarily in KL while waiting for my convocation.

erm.. what else?  No idea so I better stop here.

1. I’m done with my internship at Jabatan Air. I was asked by the chairman/chief engineer whether the 3 months internship is sufficient. I gave him the wrong answer by saying NO..  I should have said yes but my wish is to visit the Babagon and Kasigui Dam. No allowance from Jabatan Air but he was good enough to give Rm300 as a pocket money.

2. I’m in my final year, semester 7 to be exact, no longer staying in Danaumas Apartment but in a flat near the Pasar malam seksyen 7. In fact, I’ve moved in there last semester, during the exam week to be precised.

3. Based on the Plan of Study, I’m on track. As for Special Topics, I’m taking World Class Manufacturing and Material for Engineering Applications. Both are reading subjects, obviously. I have approached Prof. Madya Esa Haruman(my lecturer for Material for Engineering Applications) for my Final Year Project 1 and currently working on the proposal. Oh, the title is Nitriding of Low-Alloy Steel..

4. I seldom turun training for Taekwondo nowadays.  I have gained some weight and I’m eager to lose all the fats.I guess there will be no tournaments for this semester.

5.  I’m spending my raya holiday in my sister’s place in Ampang(17th-23rd Sept) and will fly to Bandung with her tomorrow(24th -27th sept)…

It actually takes a mere of 10 minutes from my place to Jabatan Air. BUT the road is ARGHH.. JAMMED!.I usually went off around 7.30 and will reach at 8.

On the first day, I met the chief engineer Ir. Teo chee kong. He’s a busy man and they said that he’s a very nice guy. I went into his room with some other engineers and staff to discuss about my workfield. I couldn’t handle the inferiority coz i was surrounded by orang-orang besar. I did mention that i’m the only intern, right? He said that starting next month, i will be trained at The Water Treatment which is situated in Tamparuli. However, it’s only for a week or two.It’s 45 minutes to 1hour away from penampang. Estimated and subsidised by Mum, the appraisal cost for gas is rm20/day. I know the place, they brought me there the day before yesterday. So, now i have to get enough sleep coz i’m not used to drive this far.
When it comes to the rules and regulations, i will ingenuously obey them. I really wish i could come late and leave early but i’m carrying my university’s name. So, i have to potray good disciplines and strong commitment in front of them.
At the time being, i’m helping them out doing some budgets and claims. So far(almost all the time), there’s nothing much to do here . That’s why i prefer staying in the computer room which has internet connection.

Been really really busy these days and LORDDDD… design is another issue!! Staying focus on the other hand is another different story. I can hardly concentrate specifically on studies. I’ve googled some info and tips on how to stay focus. Now i’m still in the midst of  applying the tips and making it as a routine to my daily life.  Semester 6 isn’t as easy as I thought.  CATIA and design turn my world upside down. Dunno la, maybe I just don’t have the flair for doing CATIA and design or maybe it’s just not the thing that I am good at.

Biar la, what do I care. That’s the problem when you’re a lone ranger type of student. I am used to doing things own my own but only with what I do well. Sometimes I just wish I have a good company whom can be my guidance  so that I don’t have to do the sickening Trial and Error which i’ve been practicing over the years. At least I don’t need to tebalkan my face to borrow assignments from my anonymous  classmates. Yeah, I did that, frequently(lately) especially in desperate moment. hahaha.

SO, HOW DO YOU LIKE MY NEW CELLPHONE??

Chinese New Year to me is more or less like Christmas, except that on Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. According to the Chinese tradition, family members should dine together on the first day or night of the auspicious event. Although I’m not purely 100% Chinese, it still runs in my blood. Kadazan -Chinese is my family’s root, both from my maternal and paternal side. Having the chance to celebrate Chinese New Year and Christmas is pretty fun you know. So annually, my family will have an open house for Christmas so as Chinese New year.

Sadly, this is the third year of me spending Chinese New Year in peninsular. Three years without Ang Pau’s reminds me of those years when I was just a kid. I used to receive lots of red packets (ANG PAU) from uncles, aunties and from open houses that I attended. When I was in middle school my dad started giving us more amount of cash inside the thing we called Ang Pau.. The amount inside it meant a lot to me and my siblings. Well,we were typically money minded during our childhood time. Hahaha.. As I grew older and older I began to receive lesser and lesser and sometimes none. As for now, I couldn’t be happier as long as I’m at home with my family during Chinese New Year. The Ang Pau thing is not really important as you grow wiser. I still wish to have Ang Pau’s but only for good luck wish, not the value inside it. Red symbolizes Hong(luck). More Red means more and more luck to come.

Everything is so tempting ever since that. I have one item in my mind now. A cellphone. I really deserve to get a new one because the one that I’m using now is so KUNO. No further explanation about the KUNO thingy because it’s really embarrassing. haha.. The good news is that my sister Maika is going to add up some on my budget. Ika, you are so bagus. Macam tu la kakak kesayangan .. wakakaka..

I have not received my scholarship allowance.  I am well aware of this, coz it happens every semester  but I some quick cash to purchase textbooks for my education purpose.  I only have 300 in my account now and the total budget estimated for the textbooks is rm200,could be more. I don’t want to burden my parents neither my sister. That’s why I didn’t ask for their help.

My credit hour for this semester is 18.  Hopefully everything is going go smooth. Here are the list of the subjects that I am taking this semester.

I’m not really good at drawing and design. In fact, I suck at it.  I still remember myself in my first semester, in Technical Drawing class. I could barely draw. I don’t have the basics and I … hmm.. okay, lets put it this way, I don’t have the talent to draw or design any components especially the complicated ones. The result? I got a B. There were three of us that time, Chris,Fid and I. Three B’s for the trio from Borneo. The rest of class, they got at least an A-.

I’m going to do my internship on this semester’s holiday. I called Suria Capital just now they did not accept my application. Darn. Of what I heard,big company is always like that. Now i’m gonna try my luck at DBKK and JKr. I’m not sure whether DBKK offers my field of work. Location matters most to me.  I dont want to do my internship at Inanam, Tuaran,Labuan.  I want it to be in KK or penampang, easier for me to find the location and jimat petrol.
